ICE II WATER
ICE II WATER is an audio-reactive projection art piece re-imagining a bar cart itself as one of the beverages it often serves. It took place for one day only in May 2026 in Dumbo, Brooklyn, NY.
ABOUT
Built in TouchDesigner, the piece maps audio-reactive visuals onto a vintage trolley bar cart beneath the Manhattan Bridge archway. The projections transformed the object into the liquids it serves, from cracked ice to flowing water.
PROCESS
The projection content was developed in TouchDesigner with audio-reactive ice and water systems (thank you to Lake Heckaman and Josef Pelz for the tutorials and inspiration) mapped to the cart's geometry before the one-night installation in Dumbo.
